Lauren is a freelance director, pianist, and vocal coach. Regional credits include 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas (Lookingglass Theatre), A Connecticut Christmas Carol (Goodspeed Opera House), and The Foreigner (Cape Playhouse). She taught in NJ public schools for over 15 years and has directed, musically directed, and choreographed at various non-profit, educational, and community organizations. Her work has been nominated for Metropolitan High School Theater Awards, Theatre Night Awards at Montclair State University, and Papermill Playhouse’s Rising Star Awards.
Additionally, Lauren has taught acting, dance, and voice for individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. She has led Master Classes that include Acting for Dancers, Musical Theatre, Acting the Song, and Scene Study.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from The Pennsylvania State University, Master of Music in Music Education from Boston University, and Master of Arts in Theatre Directing from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University.
